They started a conversation with the City of Brevard to talk about quality of life, new business growth, healthy eating and farmland preservation. This conversation, this purposeful connection, evolved into a partnership with the city that included monetary support for the Farmer\u2019s Market and inclusion in the city\u2019s comprehensive plan.<\/p>\n<p>The Transylvania County Farmer\u2019s Market has seen explosive growth in the past three years. It is a community gathering place where folks come to shop, visit with neighbors, connect with local businesses and buy fresher, healthier foods.
