Buy Haywood supports local farmers through various outreach projects in Western North Carolina. One example of this is their &#8220;Cooking Local Project,&#8221; which connects community members with local farmers and chefs in an effort to foster healthy eating and increase the sale of locally-grown fruits and vegetables in Western North Carolina. It will include a series of cooking demonstrations in Haywood, Jackson, and Buncombe counties that will feature a locally-grown product, the farmer who grew it, and a local chef who will teach participants how to use the product to prepare a healthy, affordable meal.<\/p>\n<p>Buy Haywood&#8217;s has also recently begun <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/BuyHaywoodProject?feature=watch\">YouTube channel<\/a> and have been producing a series of videos that promote agritourism in Haywood County.
